Peabody Award–winning writer. Filmmaker. Afrofuturist. Narcel Reedus won the Peabody for his writing on NPR’s Will the Circle Be Unbroken, produced the PBS documentary Homecoming on Black farmers and African-American land loss, and took best-documentary honors at the 2013 NCBFF for his feature Not Home.
His award-winning films include For Colored Boys Who’ve Considered Homicide, Waddie Welcome, and Race Juice: An Elixir for the Soul. He earned his MFA in film from Temple University and taught film at the University of Texas at Arlington.
Vibe is Meta 4 is his debut fiction series — written like the movies he’s been making all along.
